SUNDAYS

The Lord be with you…

Sunday mornings at St. Patrick’s are a time of renewal and connection. We are a liturgical church, drawing ritual from the Book of Common Prayer, while engaging with our present world.

From Labor Day to Memorial Day, our Sunday mornings follow this schedule:

8:00am Quiet Service

At 8:00am we have a contemplative service, meaning there is no music. This leaves time for reflection in the silent pauses of the service. (This service is also live-streamed through our Facebook page).

Between services

Between services, all are welcome to join us for breakfast and a time of fellowship. Throughout the year, there will also be various planned mini-series for our adult formation hour beginning at 9:15am.

10:30 Musical Service

At 10:30am, we have our musical service. The vast majority of our songs are played on either the organ or the piano, but we are happy to expand our repertoire if you have a musical gift you’d like to share. Our songs are pulled from both a traditional hymnal and some more modern sources.

Both services follow the same order: Prayer, reading of scripture, sermon, holy communion (sometimes called Eucharist in the Episcopal Church). This is our time to remember Christ’s sacrifice for us and to receive the bread and wine. Both Sunday worship services are Eucharistic, which means that during our Eucharistic prayer, the congregation is invited to gather at the Lord’s table to share in the gift of bread and wine.

Coffee/Social Hour

After the 10:30 service, you can stay behind to get know each other better during our coffee/social hour.

Monthly Family Service: Clover Patch

On the third Sunday of every month at 5:00pm, we have our new family service, Clover Patch. This is an all-ages service that follows the same general structure of our Sunday morning services, but is designed with our youngest members in mind. Extra noise and child participation is not just tolerated — it is expected and celebrated! All are warmly invited. The brief service is followed by a light, kid-friendly dinner.

This is the table of the Lord.
It is to be made ready for those who love God
and who want to love God more.

So, come, you who have much faith and you who have little,
you who have been here often and you who have never been before,
you who have tried to follow Jesus and you who have failed.
Come, for it is the Lord who invites you

And it is his will to meet you here.
