Good Shepherd Preschool
Enrollment open for Fall 2025
Good Shepherd is St. Patrick’s pre-school Montessori-style enrichment program. This is a place for children to engage with and explore God’s love for his people through scripture storytelling, manipulatives, art, feast, and song in a quiet and nurturing space. Child-led activities are designed to invite wonder and creativity and focus on process over product.
The program is offered on Tuesday afternoons, 12-3pm, and is free to children ages 3-6 in the Lebanon area.
Children are invited to bring a packed lunch and eat together at noon. Those who prefer to eat at home may join us between 12:15 and 12:30 to settle into the space before we begin our story for the day. We do ask for children to be potty-trained. We don't expect anyone to be fully accident free, but definitely no longer diapered.
We follow the break schedule and weather cancellations of Lebanon City School District.

About our teachers:
We still have a few places remaining in our Good Shepherd preschool program for this year. For those of you who have already signed up, and those who are still deciding, we'd like to tell you about the teachers you'll have this year.
Jill Lane holds a BS in Zoology from Miami U and an MEd from Xavier. She been a teacher with St Patrick's Good Shepherd program since 2007 and is also the class substitute for Family Montessori of Lebanon. Jill lives on a 5 acre smallhold with her husband, dogs, chickens, sheep and other assorted critters.
Cori Vivian is the children's and youth minister at St. Patrick's. She received her MDiv from Louisville Seminary in 2023, and an MA in English from Miami University in 2019. In addition to her seven years of experience in parish children's ministry, Cori has worked with kids at summer camps and the public library. She and her husband, Alec, have a one year-old son, and four dogs.
Jean Tarr has been involved with Sunday School and VBS programs since high school, and her love of working with children led to a 25-year teaching career in language arts and reading. She has a special fondness for sharing God's amazing story through Godly Play and she looks forward to working with the Good Shepherd program. She enjoys spending a lot of her free time with her young grandchild.
All volunteers complete a background check and SafeChurch training.
