Happy New Year! Welcome, 2026

Senior Warden Note

Jan 1, 2026

While the liturgical year starts at the beginning of Advent, the calendar year begins today, including the New Year’s tradition of making resolutions.

Sometimes a resolution is too cut and dry. One either succeeds or fails at keeping it. Then what? At convention this year, the Forward Movement table had cards available printed with ‘A Morning Resolve’. I like that. A morning resolve sets a good intention for the day, and each day is new with a chance to set that intention again the next day, and again, and again…  and again.
